The path to where I am today!
  1. Early Years

    • Born on 10th March at Durg, Chhattisgarh, India, in a Jain Marwari family.
    • Throughout my early life, I focused on my education and extracurricular activities. I secured good grades in school while also nurturing my passion for cricket.

  2. School Leadership

    • I was selected as the Head Boy of my school, marking a significant moment in my personal growth and leadership development.
    • As Head Boy, I conducted regular prayers and events, fostering a sense of community and teamwork among my peers. This experience taught me valuable skills in organization, communication, and responsibility.

  1. Pursuing Engineering Dreams

    • During my high school years, I pursued my passion for mathematics and took it as an elective, with the goal of attending the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) and becoming an engineer.
    • I worked extremely hard during this period, dedicating countless hours to studying and preparing for exams. Unfortunately, despite my efforts, I did not achieve my goal and failed to get into an IIT. This experience taught me the valuable lesson of perseverance in the face of failure and encouraged me to keep pushing forward.

  2. The Goal

    • After failing to get into an IIT, I decided to take a year off from my studies and go to Kota, Rajasthan, to prepare for the exams again. While I did not succeed in getting into an IIT or NIT, I did secure a good rank of 381 in the State PET exam and received admission offers from several private engineering colleges.
    • This experience taught me the importance of persistence and hard work, even in the face of setbacks. It also made me realize that success can come in many different forms and that I shouldn't limit my options.

  3. College Life Begins

    • I joined the Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg to pursue engineering, with a major in Information Technology.
    • This marked a turning point in my academic journey, as I finally found a path forward after facing multiple setbacks in the past. I was also proud to become the only person in my branch to secure a 100% scholarship, which eased the financial burden on my family and allowed me to fully focus on my studies.

  4. Building Problem-Solving Skills

    • During my second year of engineering, I took a course in programming that taught me how to solve problems using code.
    • This was the first time I seriously learned programming, and I quickly developed a passion for it. I enjoyed the challenge of using code to solve real-world problems and found satisfaction in seeing my solutions come to life. This experience also taught me the importance of being adaptable and constantly learning new skills.

  5. Smart India Hackathon I

    • I participated in the inaugural edition of Smart India Hackathon, a nationwide competition that challenges participants to develop innovative software solutions to real-world problems.
    • I built a team and led the development of a software application from scratch, which we presented at the competition held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. This experience taught me valuable skills in teamwork, leadership, and project management, as well as giving me exposure to the broader tech industry.

  6. Smart India Hackathon II

    • I participated once again in the Smart India Hackathon, this time with even greater ambition and determination.
    • Along with my team, we worked tirelessly to develop a software application that we believed could have a real impact on society. Our efforts paid off, as we made it to the top 8 of the competition, an achievement that filled us with pride and a sense of accomplishment.
    • The entire experience was incredibly rewarding, both in terms of the skills and knowledge we gained from the process of developing our application and the incredible atmosphere and energy of the competition itself.

  7. Freelancing and Learning Continues

    • Eager to continue learning and building my skills, I started doing freelancing work on the side, despite having little professional experience.
    • Through word-of-mouth referrals from friends and family, I began to take on projects and deliver them successfully. This allowed me to gain practical experience in software development, project management, and client communication, and taught me valuable lessons about the importance of meeting deadlines, managing expectations, and delivering quality work.

  8. The Internship at InTheMoney.in

    • I landed an internship at a promising startup called InTheMoney.in, thanks to a referral from a friend.
    • I was one of just four interns selected for the program, and I was excited to have the opportunity to build something from scratch. Over the course of the internship, I worked closely with the other interns and the founders of the company to develop the technology behind the platform, honing my skills in web development, database management, and more.
    • The internship was an invaluable learning experience that gave me a taste of what it's like to work at a startup, as well as helping me to refine my technical skills and build my professional network. And as a bonus, it also led to me being offered a senior position at Riverhouse technologies.

  9. Joining Riverhouse

    • With my internship at InTheMoney.in coming to a close, I found myself with a difficult decision to make: whether to accept an offer from a large MNC based in Bangalore, or to join Riverhouse, which is now the parent company of IntheMoney.in.
    • After carefully considering my options, I ultimately decided to join Riverhouse. Although the MNC offered a stable and well-paying job, I was drawn to the opportunity to work at a fast-growing tech company with a dynamic and talented team. I felt that I would have more opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact at Riverhouse, and I was excited to be part of such an innovative and forward-thinking organization.

  10. The initial days

    • After joining Riverhouse in May 2019, I hit the ground running. In my first few weeks at the company, I worked on a variety of service-based projects, collaborating with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that met their requirements.
    • These initial projects were a crash course in project management, teamwork, and customer service. I learned how to communicate effectively with clients, how to manage timelines and budgets, and how to work collaboratively with my colleagues to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.
    • Although it was challenging at times, I loved the fast-paced and dynamic environment at Riverhouse, and I felt that I was learning and growing every day. By the end of my first few months at the company, I had gained a deep appreciation for the importance of customer service and had developed a strong foundation in project management and software development.

  11. Evolving Role and Leadership Development

    • As I gained more experience at Riverhouse, my role began to evolve. In addition to working on projects, I also took on responsibilities for hiring, training, and mentoring new team members.
    • It was a big change for me to go from being the one interviewed to the one doing the interviewing, but I found that I really enjoyed the process of finding and nurturing new talent. I loved meeting new people and learning about their skills and experience, and I took great pride in helping to build a strong and capable team.
    • Over time, I became more and more involved in the hiring process, developing strategies for sourcing and evaluating candidates, and refining our approach to training and onboarding new hires. Through this work, I gained a deeper understanding of what it takes to build a successful and high-performing team, and I honed my skills as a leader and mentor.

  12. Learning the Value of Culture

    • In March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic forced many businesses to switch to remote work, including Riverhouse where I was working at the time. This was a new challenge for everyone and we had to adapt quickly to the new working environment. We learned the value of company culture and how to maintain it while working remotely. We also learned how to deliver quality work while respecting everyone's time and needs, as many people had to balance work with personal responsibilities such as caring for family members or homeschooling their children.

  13. More Products at Riverhouse

    • We continued to build and deliver more projects, and our hard work started to pay off. With each successful project, our reputation grew and we gained more clients.

  14. Transition to Kayzen as a Developer

    • Despite the growth and success at Riverhouse, I felt a desire to be part of a product-building team. After discussing with the management, I made the difficult decision to transition from my position as Chief of Tech and join Kayzen, an adtech DSP, as an outsourced software engineer through Riverhouse. This move allowed me to gain more experience working with larger teams and building great products. As they say, "The more you know, the more you realize that you know very little," and I was excited to continue my learning journey.
